Data-informed safety initiatives that lead to best in class HSE performance

Our client, an upstream oil and gas company, was concerned about their poor safety performance. A lack of ownership and accountability, combined with an inadequate safety culture was identified as contributing to a lack of safety performance.

Over a 10-month engagement, Lead 2 Perform worked with the VP, managers, frontline, the safety department and vendors.

• Using data and a frontline survey, specific safety initiatives were identified and owned by the frontline
• L2P supported the implementation of a consistent standardized framework for developing and implementing initiatives
• With workers, developed visual management systems to monitor progress weekly, monthly and quarterly
• Built and implemented a sustainability framework to ensure consistent execution and maintenance of the safety culture

One year after the project, our client had sustained best in class HSE performance.
